Oh my! I was almost afraid to pick up Mr. A when i first started his session. He was just so tiny and i'm used to my babies who are big chubby newborns! We did these photos at Grandma's house and I just love them! Thank you for choosing me to capture your precious little gift!

Sweet Little Sophie

Again, i feel so blessed to be able to do this job and get to meet these beautiful little newborns when they are so fresh to this world! And Sophie was no exception! She is so beautiful and she was sooooooo good. Her mama was so calm and it showed in how calm and content little Sophie was for our session. This little girl is going to be so loved...she is the first grandchild for both families. As usual, for anyone who knows me, i got all teared up for a few moments during this session. This is often the case during newborn sessions as I just get overwhelmed at what a miracle this is to have these new tiny babies so perfect and innocent, and it brings me back to my emotions when i brought my beautiful children home! Congratulations Delorme Family on your new daughter...enjoy every single...

Maui Wedding Photographs

I keep saying it over and over again, but i feel so honoured to have been asked to come and photograph this beautiful wedding in Maui. It was so simple and relaxed and personal and i love that! It should be about the marriage to one another, not about making everyone else happy. (that's just my opinion!) The bride chose to wear a red dress, which i wasn't entirely sure about, but it was beautiful! She looked amazing and it was just so dramatic!! Gaerwen & Aaron, i wish the two of you much love and laughter in your marriage! Mahalo.

I am updating my blog today after a wonderful Mom from my daughter's dance class reminded me that i hadn't updated my blog in quite some time! I knew this, but it always seems to fall to the bottom of my priority list. Silly of me as this is what helps to keep me busy! It just reminded me that people follow my blog and are probably forgetting about me since i am so slack about updating. I am going to try and be better about this, and i hope to update at least once a week. Deanna, you can gently remind me again if i fall of the wagon. I also want to thank all my wonderful clients from 2010. It was an amazing year for my business and i just feel so blessed to live in a small town where I feel so much love and support from the whole community!

A Day In the Life...

I believe i set a record for the most photos i've taken in a session! I couldn't help myself! These were 2 of the most beautiful little girls. We did all of our session in this families home. We even had a tea party! I was there for a very long long time, so thank you Mom & Dad for letting me stay so long. I felt like i captured a day in their life with a newborn and a 2 year old.
