A Thousand Words Photography

Just thought I'd post a photo from last summer. My family did a Dandelion Photo Challenge and these are a couple of the photos that came out of it! I am really missing summer right now and was browsing through summer photos last night. Stay warm everyone!

Again, i feel so blessed to be able to do this job and get to meet these beautiful little newborns when they are so fresh to this world! And Sophie was no exception! She is so beautiful and she was sooooooo good. Her mama was so calm and it showed in how calm and content little Sophie was for our session. This little girl is going to be so loved...she is the first grandchild for both families. As usual, for anyone who knows me, i got all teared up for a few moments during this session. This is often the case during newborn sessions as I just get overwhelmed at what a miracle this is to have these new tiny babies so perfect and innocent, and it brings me back to my emotions when i brought my beautiful children home! Congratulations Delorme Family on your new daughter...enjoy every single moment, it goes by so quickly!

and after being so wonderful, Sophie finally said "That's Enough!" 

Just a quick post to get everyone in the mood for Valentine's Day! Some cuties all dressed for Valentine's Day.

I keep saying it over and over again, but i feel so honoured to have been asked to come and photograph this beautiful wedding in Maui. It was so simple and relaxed and personal and i love that! It should be about the marriage to one another, not about making everyone else happy. (that's just my opinion!) The bride chose to wear a red dress, which i wasn't entirely sure about, but it was beautiful! She looked amazing and it was just so dramatic!! Gaerwen & Aaron, i wish the two of you much love and laughter in your marriage! Mahalo.

I am posting some photos from a session i had last fall! I really love the photos from this session. Not sure if it's the photos or the kids who i adore! I can just show these now as they were a surprise for a family that i just love and who are like a second family to my oldest daughter. They are so good to her and spoiled her by taking the girls to a Justin Beiber concert. Enjoy a look back at the beautiful fall we had. I am really missing the sunshine!
